A Gourmet Brunch to benefit Mary Lacklen

Please join us in this expression of gratitude to Mary for simply being herself. All proceeds will go to Mary, who is confronted with a severe medical condition that requires advanced (and costly) treatments.

We are all familiar with Mary Lacklen’s contribution to Greensboro’s roster of independent restaurants through memorable dining experiences at Bert's Seafood Grille. In addition to her professional accomplishments Mary has offered her resources and talents to numerous worthy causes. Her years of service with the Urban Ministry's Thanksgiving dinners, The Triad Health Project, and fundraisers she organized for individuals in need are exemplary of what it means to give to one’s community.

The Friends of Mary Lacklen will be holding a gourmet brunch and art sale, Feast of Friends, Sunday March 21 from 12:00-3:00 pm at The Painted Plate, 2001 North Church Street.

Tickets are $25 per person and are available at the door or at Maria’s Carryout and Catering, 2130 Lawndale Drive. The European spring menu will be cooked by Maria Fangman of Maria's Carryout and Catering, Brad Semon of The Painted Plate and Beth Kizhnerman of Bistro Sofia.

2. Cash or check donations may be delivered to any Suntrust bank for deposit into the “Friends of Mary Lacklen” account (Attn. Joshua Bledsoe).

3. Mark your calendar and join us Sunday, March 21 at The Painted Plate!
