Human Rights Campaign Names Guilford Green Foundation
the 2010 Equality Award Winner ~ Organization
The 2010 Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Carolinas Gala Committee and the North Carolina Steering Committee have selected the recipients of their annual Equality Awards. They are given in recognition of individuals and organizations who have undertaken profound actions to further the civil rights of the LGBT community. Guilford Green Foundation is being recognized and honored as the 2010 Equality Award - Organization winner.
GGF would like to thank its founders, past and current board members, donors, volunteers, staff, grantees and the entire GGF family for all the support you have given us in advancing our mission of uniting community. We hope that each of you feel as honored as we do about receiving this important award and know that it would not have been possible without the role that each of you has played in past years.
The award will be presented at the HRC Carolinas Gala on Saturday, February 27th at the Raleigh Convention Center. Additional awards presented that evening will go to: Mary Elizabeth Lennon of Charlotte, NC (Trailblazer - Equality Individual Award) and David Parker of Colfax, NC (Legacy Award).
CONGRATULATIONS GGF!
